Konstantin Korovin

Russian Impressionist painter – Korovin had enormous enthusiasm for life and passion for painting. Though he did not know great success while living in Russia, over the years after his death he has become greater recognized. He had a long-term close relationship with Valentin Serov. The two headed the portrait and genre painting department at the Moscow Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture
