Collection: Marie-Pierre Philippe-Lohézic

Born in Paris, Marie-Pierre studied at l’École des Beaux-Arts. Inspired by artists such as Picasso, Buffet, Cézanne, Rodin and Archipenko, Marie-Pierre is attracted to cubism and abstract art. Working with the concept of metamorphosis and the female body as a source of endless inspirations; for a woman generates life and alters her body in the process. Marie-Pierre works with the theme of movement as one motion transforms to another shape. Her work has been exhibited in the United States, France and Singapore. Marie-Pierre received numerous national awards and her work is collected internationally.
