Musings on Art is a resource for artists and art collectors. We provide an online gallery, as well as articles, videos and a wide selection of books. Our mission is to provide a platform for artists and writers to discuss all things pertaining to art.

Our Reputation
We have spent years carefully building our brand to create a reputation of high-quality content. Therefore, we are very selective about who we allow to advertise. If you think your company is a good fit with our standards than we would love to hear from you.

Content Series and Advertorials
We welcome sponsorships and partnerships to create custom editorial content that fits into the subject matter on our site and promotes your brand initiative. Content creation can be one article or a series. The content series can be created with any level of your input. Meaning that you can provide an already written article(s) or we can write one for you. All content must fit within the umbrella of “art” and must be written by a woman. New articles are featured for a period of a month on our home page and on social media. We will also highlight topics and feature subjects in our monthly newsletter. All of our articles remain on our site for years. This means that any links to your company’s products and/or services will also remain active.

Musings on Art receives over 100,000 unique page views per year. Our primarily focus is the North American and European markets, with the majority coming from the United States at 45% and the United Kingdom at 12%. These markets are followed by Canada, Spain, France and Germany. In 2020, we saw growth in our Asian market with a number of sales coming from Japan.

Home Page
Musings on Art offers a number of promotional opportunities for our sponsors through two key spots on our home page. These spots remain live for a full month and are promoted daily on social media.

Featured Article – This is the largest feature spot on the home page and is located at the top.

Featured Artwork – Located in the middle of the home page under the article listings, provides an area for two featured pieces of art.

Article and/or Video Page
Our articles and videos are highly sought after resource material and provide an opportunity to go in-depth on a subject matter. Both types of pages remain on our website and come with keyword features making them very searchable anywhere in the world. Articles include a feature spot on the home page, a listing on the Articles Listing page, as well as a full page of text, embedded links and up to five images. The price includes minor editing to a 1,250 word article provided by the client. We also provide writing services for an additional charge for clients who need a new article written.

Gallery Listing
A gallery listing on our site includes listing your images over three pages, as shown below.

Main Gallery Page – You will have one image to represent your
artist or gallery.

Individual Artist or Gallery Page – Your image on the Main Gallery page links to your Individual Artist/Gallery page where you can have multiple images.

Artwork Information Page – The images on the Individual Artist/Gallery page link to an individual page with details about each piece of artwork.

Newsletter & Social Media

Artwork Advertising
Each article and video page has its spot to advertise artwork. This spot can link to the artist or gallery page in our gallery section, or to your own website.

Publication Cycle
Musings on Art is an online publication that is published once a month.

Closing Dates

Insertion orders must be confirmed in writing by the 20th of each month for the following month. New online issues go live on the first Sunday of each month. Orders received after space reservation deadline will be published late.
Articles and/or ad artwork must arrive by specified art closing dates. Design services are available at an additional cost.
Advertisers and agencies assume liability for content of advertisements and responsibility for any claims therefore made against the publisher.
Artwork will be destroyed 12 months after the advertiser’s last insertion of an ad.

Payment/Billing
Advertisers will be sent an invoice via e-mailed payable via Zelle or PayPal. No advertising or editorial will be placed until payment is made in full.

Cancellations
No cancellations or changes in insertion orders will be accepted after the space reservation closing dates. Cancellations must be received in writing prior to the space closing date.

Any advertiser canceling advertisements after the closing date must pay the full space charge.
